sweet lemon or lime butter sauce



1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar plus extra for dusting, if desired
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
1 tablespoon lemon or lime zest

Mix, butter, salt and sugar until light and fluffy. Add lemon or lime Juice and zest and mix briefly. If not using immediately wrap in plastic wrap in the form of a 6 inch log and store in fridge for a few days.

To serve: Place 1 tbsp. on hot crepe or pancake and sprinkle with confectioners sugar, if desired, and serve.
